Original Concept Photography on Gold & Silver Plate
The mounting is a high-quality digital image (not inkjet) that is lasered and face mounted to a 1/8" plexiglass and the backing is a metal sub frame that is attached for easy hanging. The finished print is frameless and floats off the wall for a clean contemporary look.
Biography

Karen grew up in Colorado amidst the beauty of the Colorado Rockies.  This early appreciation of beauty came from her glorious surroundings as well as a Mother who was an award-winning artist.  Karen’s love of beauty and her own creativity brought her to California to study at the Academy of Art in San Francisco where she began her photography career.  Since then, Karen has developed a unique way of capturing ethereal beauty and tranquility in her photographs.  Karen’s love of capturing magical moments in time led to her creating new ways of looking at art. These unique and original designs include her latest in dimensional art of original photographs on layered acrylic, glossy metal or gold metal, which are all archival.

3D Glossy Metal: Brilliant, luminescent images dye-infused into glassy metal.
3D Gold Metal:  Heat process imbedded image into shimmering gold-colored metal.
