Biography
Zjawinski is an exceptional sculptor whose expertise lies in his truly unforgettable bronze work and is recognized worldwide for his outstanding talent. Zjawinkski has studied at the prestigious Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, where he received his BFA, and at the Academy of Art in San Francisco where he earned his MFA. He has also studied with the Brooklyn Museum of Art School and is a member of the Art Students League of New York.
Zjawinski's mastery of sculpture and bronze work has been recognized by several awards as well as national and international fellowships and grants, including the Art of California Magazine award for Bronze in 1992 and 1993, a grant from the Brooklyn Museum in New York and a grant from the US Embassy in Warsaw, Poland. His exceptional sculpture is featured in several museums and private collections around the world.
